How do I handle 
​neighborly conflicts?

Often times people don't realize that their dog is barking while they're away, their stereo is too loud or a brand new baby exercising his/her lungs is  keeping you awake.  The Board suggests that you first try to resolve any conflicts with your neighbor personally.  The suggested method is leaving a note on your neighbor's door that respectfully identifies the problem. This acknowledgment generally results in a resolution.

If this doesn't work, complete the online form to the right (it goes to our Office Manager directly) and she will work with you to find a resolution.  

Another option is to download and complete the Printable Violation Report at the right and drop it by the front desk! 

If it is after hours and you have a noise complaint, feel free to have the Seattle Police Department respond.  Just drop us an email or complete the Online Violation Report (right), so we can follow up with your neighbor! If you have a picture of the rule violation, please upload it as well. Remember that we can't do anything to help unless your concerns are in writing!​  

What are the rules?

The rules are under constant review by the Rules Committee.  Below, you will find a copy of the Updated Rules and Regulations; recent revisions or additions are in red.  This document includes all adopted and implemented policies as well as the amended sections as approved by the Board.
