December 2020
“Still around the corner there may wait a new road or secret gate. ” ~JRR. Tolkien Parcels, Parcels, Everywhere! Last December our parcel room saw nearly 2,000 deliveries, and in the first two days of this month we’ve already received 200 parcels! With an average retrieval time of 28 hours where items remained in the room before being picked up, we really need people to remove your items from the room as soon as possible. We’re headed into our busy season, so if the last two days are any indication… it’s going to be busier than last year. If you are headed out of town, please have someone pick up your deliveries. Our room is small and we need everyone to pull together so flow is maintained in the parcel room. Holiday Food Drive Continues Our annual food drive is in full swing, but we’ve noticed items are disappearing from the donation bin. If you are in need like some of our neighbors, please contact the office so we can help! The Ballard Food Bank is always in need of hygiene items, baby and pet items. Peanut butter and other nonperishables are always in demand, as well. If you have a little extra and can share with our neighbors, we’re happy to ensure they receive your holiday donations. The donation barrel is in the lobby…. Or visit their Amazon Wish List at: www.ballardfoodbank.org/donation-details The New Normal… Masks please. Please, please, please be sure you, your guests and vendors are wearing masks in the common areas. Not only is it a state mandate, but we care and want you and your loved ones healthy!
