Disconnected Fire Horn

7/8/2019

We received a trouble notification on the fire panel and traced it back to a disconnected horn in one of the units.  Tampering with the fire/safety systems is a violation of RCW 9.40.100 and places our entire community at risk.

If you have tampered with the horn in your unit, in any way, please contact Brian or Lana immediately so it can be reconnected and properly tested.

If we have not heard from anyone by NOON ON WEDNESDAY, we will schedule our Fire/Safety Vendor to conduct a unit by unit search – which involves testing horns in every unit.  (This is similar to the annual fire alarm test – just longer.) The cost of this visit will be billed back to the unit owner.

It is our hope this is simply a misunderstanding of the safety laws of Washington State and we can quickly resolve the issue without further incident.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
