Canal Station’s support of the Ballard Food Bank extends beyond the holiday season. In an effort to help their community partners meet their needs in areas which typically fall short, the Food Bank has created a Wish List through Amazon. Click the link below; supporting the Food Bank in this manner ensures your donation goes directly to the people who need it most. Even better, your receipt can be used as a tax deductible donation. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/UFKQGJ1IIW3C/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex

“Friends are the bacon in the salad bowl of life. ” ~Unknown Food waste bins Thanks to everyone for using the food waste bins on each floor. The city recently audited our recycle and food waste programs and gave us high marks! We’ve had some interesting things in our food waste bins over the last couple months – there were some houseplants, a tree and pizza boxes – which left no room for other people’s food waste. If you have large compostable items, please take them to the 1st floor trash room – our team will make sure they’re disposed of appropriately. 2019 Homeowners’ Annual Meeting The Annual Homeowners’ Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 at 6pm in the Community Room of the Ballard Library.
